The South Iowa Area Crime Commission (EOE) is seeking a transport officer to perform court ordered transports of juveniles and adults on an on call/as needed basis.  Hours average 25+ per week. 

 

Duties include taking physical custody of clients, searching persons and property for contraband, transporting clients to and from law enforcement centers, courts, hospitals, shelters, detention, and other locations as necessary.  Transportation is performed in a company-owned caged vehicle.  Vehicles are kept at employee residence, time is calculated time of leaving home to returning home.

 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid Iowa driver’s license

• Good driving record

• Criminal history check

• Minimum of 21 years of age
